Danny died unexpectedly from a coronary episode Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 in Riverside, CA. His love of water skiing always guided his path. This passion introduced countless numbers of us to life on the river. In Portland Dan’s vision created Class Harbor on the Columbia River and Macadam Bay Club on the Willamette River. Overlooking the Columbia River in Woodland, Washington he developed Columbia View Estates and in Kalama, Washington he developed Columbia Crest Estates and The View. Aside from being a very hard worker, he was focused and a real character. His unique, charming, quirky, gregarious, friendly, and outgoing personality always led to laughs and escapades. The past six years he has been living his dream of great weather, water skiing, racquetball, paddle boarding, bike riding, hiking and kite surfing in his "SoCal Bliss".
(Below is his Facebook Post of Oct. 10.2020... his 66th Birthday)
65 was my best year ever, but at 66 this AM I skied the best in a couple of years. So I guess the best life starts at 66!!!!!!!

Another passion of Dan's was photography which he started in high school.
May 1968 Danny took these of Robert F Kennedy while he was in Portland, Oregon.
We were pleased to see him pick photography back up, relax and capture life and nature in California.
Late 1970s figuring out how to film skiing with movie camera
Sooooo Danny!
(Above Middle) As he stated on Facebook two days before he died "I'm 66 and thinking of dyeing my hair blond, it would go with my chit-chat." That was sooooooo Danny!!
He broke the mold, had 9 lives and lived life to it's fullest! We love you and will miss you.
